Head Adapters
Head adapters connect lights, cameras, video monitors, etc, to the free end of a ball arm.  Balls with fittings for various proprietary mounts and threaded sockets are listed below.  If you can't find the attachment you need in the list, it may be that a multi-purpose (base ball) adapter can be used (see base adapters page).

ikelite
All current ikelite substrobes mount on the Ultralight AD-125 ball.  This has a fitting for the Substrobe M type T-slot (The mould used to make the original Substrobe M is still used for the DS-51 and AF-35; and the slot was subsequently used on the DS-125, 160 and 161). The AD-125 ball also fits the ikelite Lite-bracket #4073.

YS-mount Sea & Sea YS-mount
De-facto standard Japanese underwater lighting mount. Fits numerous makes of light and flash unit, including Sea & Sea, Sony, Olympus, Epoque, Fisheye, and 10Bar.  It provides a variable-friction tilt articulation, so the use of one of the longer Untralight ball to YS lattice sections can eliminate a ball joint..  The mount can also be used as a simple lug: 8mm clearance hole, 12mm thick (across the flats of the lug).

Inon Z-mount
To fit Inon flash units etc..  Adapter AD-IN has anti-rotation pin and can be attached and removed by hand (convenient).  BA-HB-M6 is attached by means of an Allen key.

Torch holders
Ultralight flashlight holders (except ikelite mini-C and UK Q40) have a Velcro strap to fit around torch body.  Grip on the torch can be increased by fitting it with rubber sleeving (supplied with holder sizes up to 1.5").  Spur-arms and base balls shown in the illustrations below are on the base adapters page.
