SLR raincapes

Durable double-laminate clear PVC with welded seams.
Rain capes protect against near-vertical precipitation. Versions with zip can also protect against spray and dust. For extreme humidity (e.g., rain forest) or periods spent at sea, a fully submersible ewa-marine housing is recommended.
Capes with optical glass front window (port) are mounted to the lens filter-thread by means of a snap-in adapter. This requires an internal-focus lens - i.e., the filter ring must not rotate during focusing or zooming. Port size is nominal (outer bezel diameter). Window diameters are (approx.) 75mm for 80mm port, and 95mm for 100mm port.

C-35 Basic SLR cape. Open at the bottom to allow access to the camera. Top flap protects the lens. Has slots to permit attachment of camera's neck strap.

C-AF (75mm lens port) Cape with 75mm diameter optical glass port. Room for lenses up to about f=300mm. Normally used with right hand inside. Bottom zip allows complete closure in extreme conditions. Can be used with tripod when zip is open. Supplied with C-A62 filter-ring adapter (direct fitting for lenses with 62mm thread) + step rings for lenses with 49, 52, 55, and 58mm threads.  Adapters for 67mm thread (C-A67) and 72mm thread (C-A72) can be purchased separately. C-AF100 (95mm lens port) Same design as C-AF except for 95mm diameter optical glass port. Supplied with CA-77 port adapter (fits lenses with 77mm filter thread directly). A CA-82 adapter can be purchased separately.

C-AFX (75mm lens port)  Bellows-fronted enclosure with 75mm diameter port and side zip. Protects against rain, spray, and dust. Has room for hot-shoe mounted flash. Includes neck strap. Supplied with C-A62 adapter and step rings to attach lenses with 49, 52, 55, 58 and 62mm threads. Adapters for 67mm thread (C-A67) and 72mm thread (C-A72) can be purchased separately.
