 Provides E-TTL* flash auto-exposure system with Canon SLR underwater.
Depth rating: 60m
Ideal for macro photography.
Can trigger larger slave strobe for wide-angle photography (manual only).
Connection is via 6-core Guide-Number Controller cable # 18530
Compatible with DX-300D and Sea & Sea Canon SLR housings manufactured after Feb 2004. Earlier housings require modification.
Due to the absorption of light underwater, errors in E-TTL exposure evaluation may occur. Exposure compensation, and adjustments in subject position, camera angle, and subject-to-flash distance may be necessary.

* E-TTL automatic flash exposure control is as an evaluative pre-stored flash control system. When in E-TTL operation, flash exposure is measured and controlled by the camera. The E-TTL automatic light control system measures the light intensity from the pre-flash, ambient light level, including very bright areas in the image, as well as subject position and reflectivity. The system then calculates a correct flash exposure for a balanced, properly illuminated image.
