Grease

Silicone Grease
torus_k Lubricant for NBR (black nitrile) and other non-silicone O-rings. Highly water repellent - may also be used to lubricate lighting bracket components and other metal parts (particularly screw-threads), to eliminate corrosion and seizure problems.
verboten Do not use silicone grease on silicone O-rings (may cause swelling and premature failure) - see fluorosilicone grease below.
