All current (RoHS compliant) battery packs are NiMH type.
Those wishing to replace older DS125 NiCd packs with NiMH will
need a new battery charger. The old NiCd charger #4063.2 is not
suitable for NiMH packs, but the new #4066.1
charger can charge both NiMH and NiCD packs. |

Substrobe 400
400 Joules output, with 110° coverage. Features: Built-in
modelling light. Audible ready and TTL error signals. Battery
pack and flash head are backwards compatible with earlier TTL
models 150, 225, and 300 (SS400 flash head can be fitted to earlier
TTL strobes, but earlier flash heads must not be used on the
SS400).
