Ikelite underwater housings are injection moulded from clear
polycarbonate resin (Lexan). The transparent housing body provides
assurance that all of the seals are working correctly (electronic
water-detectors are not required), and allows control positions
and information displays to be monitored easily. Ikelite closure
devices, control glands, and electrical connectors have a reputation
for reliability and serviceability developed through more than
40 years of experience in underwater engineering, and the range
of accessories available is one of the most comprehensive in
the underwater industry. |
