ikelite 2.2" Port Adapters
These adapters enable M67 and Inon AD-mount submersible lenses to be attached to ikelite compact and ultra-compact camera housings which have a 2.2" (56mm) diameter lens port.
Note that the flash built in to the camera is usually blocked when a wide angle-lens is fitted.  Use of an external flash, a video light, or natural lighting is assumed.  The adapter includes a removable flash deflector, which prevents uneven illumination when using the internal flash to trigger a slave.

Notes on using Ikelite 2.2" port adapters:
The ikelite adapter fits over the lens port on the housing and is held in place by means of three screws with knurled heads. The screws protrude into a groove on the port, so that the adapter cannot fall off accidentally. The screws prevent free rotation of the adapter when fully engaged, but the adapter can still be rotated with moderate force (i.e., it becomes stiff to rotate, but it is not locked in position). Hence, when an accessory lens is fitted or removed underwater, it is necessary to hold the adapter to prevent it from rotating (particularly in the case of the Inon bayonet types).
When a lens with an anti-flare hood is fitted, the adapter should be rotated so that the hood does not cut-off the view when the camera zoom is at its most wide-angle setting.
Some lens and camera combinations will vignette at the maximum-wide setting (i.e, there may be darkening at the corners of the picture). In that case, zoom-in until the vignetting disappears.
After entering the water, an accessory lens should be removed and replaced to ensure that there are no air bubbles in the space between the lens and the port.
